                  A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING JOHN D. WILKINSON,
                  JR., CITY ENGINEER FOR THE DEPARTMENT OF
                  PUBLIC WORKS, TO SIGN VOUCHERS, REQUISITIONS
                  AND OTHER NECESSARY DOCUMENTS FOR AND ON
                  BEHALF OF THE PUBLIC WORKS DEPARTMENT,
                  EFFECTIVE MAY 15, 1996.

       	    	 BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
       CHATTANOOGA, TENNESSEE, That John D. Wilkinson, Jr., City 
Engineer
       for the Department of Public Works, be and is hereby authorized 
to
       sign vouchers, requisitions and other necessary documents for and 

       on behalf of the Public Works Department, effective May 15, 1996.
